Console Power Supplies (AC Adapters)
The goal here is to recommend a readily available UL-listed power supply which performs well while still being affordable. In conjunction with various DC plug adapters, this supply can be utilized on many different consoles. Please use the following chart to determine which plug adapter is required for each console. Keep in mind that although this specific power supply supports universal input AC mains voltage & frequency, an AC plug adapter is required for use outside of North America and Japan.
IMPORTANT: Pay careful attention to the chart below. Scenarios exist where incorrect voltage polarity from the wrong adapter can damage the console.

YPbPr Component Switchbox Alternatives
A unique feature of our SNES & Genesis YPbPr cables is that they are designed such that if you "split" the YPbPr input of a TV using Y-adapters, you can connect two HD Retrovision cables to the same port without degradation. This effectively acts like an auto-switching function. You cannot have both consoles powered on at the same time or you'll get garbage on the screen. Also, do not mix a mono audio device (e.g. Master System) and stereo audio device on the same split, otherwise you will get crosstalk on the stereo device. IMPORTANT: This method only works properly with HD Retrovision SNES & Genesis YPbPr cables (including adapters) and not with other standard YPbPr devices. Also not supported are the HD Retrovision PS2/PS3 and Wii/Wii U YPbPr cables.
